Update Siv from sales and catering system reports

Your sales and catering system is often where group business is maintained. Many popular sales and catering systems do not readily enable API integrations, so ingesting bulk reports from those systems is a way to keep your records in Siv up to date with your sales and catering system. Siv can apply those reports so opportunities in Siv stay aligned with what your team already maintains there. The usual way to send those updates is by email.

Get set up

Email Siv Support and ask to enable sales and catering report updates for your organization. We will give you the address to send reports to and confirm the report format.

Send a report

1. Attach the report as a CSV file.
2. Email it to the intake address Siv Support provided.
3. Send from an address your organization already uses for operations mail.

You can send reports on a schedule or as needed.

What Siv updates

Siv uses each matched row to update an opportunity in your organization. These updates primarily keep the opportunity's budget and sales stage aligned with your sales and catering system. Depending on the report format, Siv can update other opportunity fields too. Siv Support will confirm which fields are updated for your setup.

If a row cannot be matched, Siv skips it rather than guessing. Contact Siv Support if something you expect to see is not updating.
